Theme: Assessment for Meaningful Learning

This convention provides an opportunity for participants to explore the role of assessment in promoting broader knowledge, deeper understanding and meaningful action for social change.  

IB practitioners, administrators and coordinators, as well as education academics and specialists will investigate a range of theoretical and practical issues of assessment and learning through the IB programmes, and how assessment measures or develops the IB learner.  

Presentations will feature strategies that have been implemented, lessons that have been learned and challenges that require innovative assessment ideas and methods for implementation in IB schools.

Jane Satchwell - Founding member of the Association for Innovation in Education (AIE). 

Michael Allan - International educator at the International School of Amsterdam.

Alex Clifton - Acting Teacher at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
