New look for IB website
From early September the IB website will have a new look and feel. Following extensive research and benchmarking we are updating www.ibo.org to provide:
- a larger news carousel that builds on the success of the current carousel with bigger images, more stories and greater prominence
- a quick link menu to the most popular content
- easy access to the latest and most popular videos from IBtv
- a tabbed, dynamic content area showing the most up-to-date IB information
- a clickable map that will change the contents of the new, larger footer to show regional specific links
- greater flexibility to showcase the latest news and initiatives.
Furthermore, the addition of a Google-powered search will allow users to search across all IB websites in the public domain. The IB website, www.ibo.org, receives over 5,000,000 visits and serves over 23,000,000 pages a year. It is the gateway to a number of websites used by IB stakeholders including the OCC, the IB store, the IB blog network and the IB virtual community.
