Examinations administration department

The examinations administration department is responsible for the successful delivery of two examination sessions each year for schools in over 120 countries. This is achieved through teams of skilled staff dedicated to various aspects of administration, including a team responsible for advising schools on the administration of the IB Diploma Programme and a team responsible for the administration of subjects. The work is

intensive, requires a high degree of personal organization and initiative, and there is an occasional requirement to work out of normal office hours (including weekend working). You will be a good communicator with a high level of IT skills in the use of databases and word processing. Educated to at least IB diploma or A level standard, you will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Two permanent posts are available to join the team of advisory officers on the coordinator help desk. A person who is able to write and speak Spanish fluently is required for one of the posts (ref 133). Both posts require excellent customer service skills and therefore previous experience of working within a customer service environment is desirable.
