Global Treasury Manager (Ref 201)

Closing date for receipt of applications: Friday 19 October 2007

The successful candidate will establish the IB treasury function covering IB operations and IB funds by agreeing and implementing a global treasury policy that addresses foreign currency exposure, investment, cash availability and cash controls. Once implemented, the postholder will manage the treasury function on an ongoing basis and ensure treasury management is followed throughout all IB offices. In addition, the postholder will consolidate IB’s banking function into HSBC and manage day to day banking relationships on an ongoing basis.

A degree and accounting qualification with an appreciation of a wide variety of finance functions are essential requirements for an application to be considered.  In addition, experience of developing technical reports for non-financial people and knowledge of cash related transactions is necessary. High-level organizational and interpersonal skills are required for this post and excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, are essential. We are looking for candidates who are able to work to tight deadlines as an individual and as part of a team. Experience in treasury would obviously be an asset, however those with experience of various financial functions and the relevant qualifications and experience who can clearly express their interest in and ability to adapt to this role will be considered.

Due to the nature of the work this role will entail regular travel possibly including weekend absences from home.

The salary package will be commensurate with the level of this post and its location.
