Primary Years Programme associate regional manager (IBAP)

Based in Singapore

Start date: 01 August 2006

 

In collaboration with the IB Asia-Pacific regional PYP team, the PYP associate regional manager advises, facilitates, supports and informs the development and expansion of the PYP in schools throughout the Asia Pacific region (IBAP). The role involves organizing, conducting and monitoring school visits; assisting in the selection, training, coordination and evaluation of workshop leaders; contributing to the development of PYP professional development services and representing the programme at workshops and conferences. Due to the nature of the work this role involves extensive travel (weekends included) throughout the region.

The successful candidate is likely to be an experienced, qualified, highly successful teacher or administrator in an IB-authorized PYP school preferably in the Asia Pacific region. The candidate must have had at least 3 years experience as a PYP teacher and ideally experience as a coordinator. The post holder must be an excellent communicator and team player who is able to work effectively with people from a wide variety of cultures.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the level of this post and its location. Reasonable relocation expenses will be paid to the successful candidate.
