Regional Communications Officer
Salary: SFr 90,583 - 120,777 per year
Working in the Geneva office, your role will focus on the communications needs of the Africa, Europe and Middle East region.
You will report to the regional director but will have strong links with each area of the regional office to support them in their communications efforts and to ensure that awareness of different projects, initiatives and successes in the region are communicated throughout the IB community including staff, teachers, governance, graduates, media, students and parents.
You will also be expected to establish close working relationships with the global communications team to help ensure a consistent, global approach is taken in relation to communications work.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and will have proven communications experience in an international environment, including considerable media relations experience. Fluency in English and French is essential.
The ability to write clearly for communications documents is essential, as is the ability to communicate with people of different levels and from different cultures.
This post is full-time and based at the IB office in Geneva, Switzerland. The salary offered within the above salary range will be dependent upon the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
