The Anglo-Mexican Foundation was established in 1943 to promote cultural interchange between Mexico and Great Britain. It developed a network of institutes throughout Mexico, using English as the language of instruction. The foundation later opened bilingual schools, including Churchill School in 1998, using English as well as Spanish in the classroom.
