Assistant communications manager Ref 93

Salary:  £19,783- £26,378 per year

As part of the communications team, based in the strategic planning department, your role will focus on the coordination of the different activities and projects that address the communications needs of the IB’s different audiences, both internal and external. Reporting to the communications manager, you will participate in the overall development and implementation of the IB communications strategy, including issues such as branding, communications tools and media relations, so that there is awareness of the organization’s key marketing messages amongst the IB’s audiences.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and will have proven communications experience in an international environment, including considerable media relations experience. Fluency in English is essential and a strong command of one or more of the organization’s other official languages (French and Spanish) is desirable. The ability to write clearly for communications documents is essential, as is the ability to communicate with people of all different levels and from different cultures.
