The information and communication technology department provides a service to IB staff, offices, schools and examiners worldwide. The development team consists of three areas: application development, application support, and testing. The application development team works closely with the other teams to develop quality web-based systems for users worldwide.
A position has arisen for a computer programmer to work on the development of web-based systems. With an IT related degree (or equivalent experience in an IT discipline), you will have a minimum of two years’ experience of developing IT systems. The specific environments used are Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL), Javascript and ColdFusion (a web application server). You will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of ColdFusion and SQL. Experience of PL/SQL and Javascript would be advantageous. It is essential that you have practical experience of developing systems, testing and working as part of a development team.
