The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a recognized leader in the field of international education.
The IB Asia-Pacific regional office in Singapore has a vacancy for the post of Access Projects Regional Programme Manager for Asia-Pacific. IB Access Projects is a newly created department responsible for training teachers outside of the organization and is driven by a mission to increase educational opportunities for marginalized populations.
The Access Projects Regional Programme Manager for Asia-Pacific is responsible for overseeing a portfolio ambitious and innovative training projects, primarily for impoverished and educationally disadvantaged teachers.
The Programme Manager position is primarily concerned with the efficient implementation of the curriculum (developed by the Curriculum Manager) and the design of effective roll-out strategies for that curriculum in collaboration with the individual Project Managers in the various countries. Experience in education or with educational projects is an advantage; experience in Development is a must.
Key capabilities include: Team and people management, strategy development and oversight, programme workflows management and co-ordination. Proven budget development and management, facilitation skills, grant writing, project outline development, identification and prioritization of deliverables, quality control, and reporting skills are also required.
The salary package will be commensurate with the level of this post and its location. Extensive travel is required.
