In support of the PYP regional manager, the PYP associate regional manager advises, facilitates, supports and informs the development and expansion of the PYP in schools throughout the Africa, Europe and Middle East region (IBAEM). The role involves organizing, conducting and monitoring school visits; assisting in the selection, training, coordination and evaluation of workshop leaders; contributing to the development of PYP professional development services and representing the programme at workshops and conferences. Due to the nature of the work this role involves extensive travel (weekends included) throughout the region.
A relevant degree along with considerabl'IB PYP experience as a teacher and/or PYP coordinator is a requirement for an application to be considered. Excellent written and spoken skills in English are essential and knowledge of French and/or Spanish would be a distinct advantage. High-level organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary for this post and excellent communication skills both written and oral are essential. We are looking for candidates who are creative, sensitive to cultural differences, flexible, open to feedback and can work in different teams identifying priorities and meeting deadlines.
This is a two-year contract. Remuneration will be commensurate with the level of this post and its location. Reasonable relocation expenses will be paid to the successful candidate.
