Transition Office Administrator Ref 290

(2 year fixed term contract)

Salary: £13,769 - £18,360 per year

Closing date:  5 August 2008

Interviews are likely to be held in the week commencing 11 August 2008

This position is required to support both the head of the transition office and the external project manager during the next phase of the 2020 project. Reporting to the head of transition office, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to the transition office to enable the department to function as effectively as possible. This role requires high levels of initiative, confidentiality and communication with senior staff and external contacts. 

Preferably educated to IB Diploma, A level standard or equivalent, you will be highly IT-literate and have proven office administration skills in a busy, service oriented environment. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand complex issues. Good organization and planning skills along with excellent written and spoken English is a necessity.
