Primary Years Programme (PYP)
PYP/MYP Bahasa Indonesia Glossary Project 2 - 3 April 2009
Bali International School was the venue for the creation of the official PYP and MYP Glossaries. The team consisted of teachers from Indonesian schools including Lisa Widjaja, Darma Patni, Linda Atmaja, Mida and Alexandra Silitonga as well as Regional Manager Curtis Beaverford, Mignon Weckert, Viki Rudez and Amalia Galetto from IB Cardiff.
The event was an outstandingly collaborative exercise with the MYP and PYP teams working together closely to support each other and to ensure consistency, coherency and integrity of the translations.
The documents are now in Cardiff for final editing and the official glossaries will be posted on the OCC. We now look forward to finding a donor to fund the translation of essential PYP and MYP documents.
Regional workshops 1 - 3 May 2009
Utahloy International School in Guangzhou, China hosted the regional workshops attended by 135 Asia Pacific participants as well as Kenya, Oman and Portugal.
