Primary school teachers

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is designed for pupils aged 3 to 12. It is an inquiry-based programme, which focuses on the social, cultural, emotional and physical needs of the child, as well as academic achievement.

Becoming a PYP school

The IB community of practice

If you are a teacher in an existing PYP school and would like to join the growing online community of practice, please visit the IB’s online curriculum centre (OCC), where you will find a host of resources to support you in your delivery of the programme.

 

Opportunities for participation

The IB offers a number of opportunities for teachers to participate in its various processes and practices. If you are in a PYP school and would like to contribute to the programme’s curriculum review process, please contact your PYP coordinator who will provide you with the appropriate form.
