Recognition Policy Summaries
As part of the college search process, IB students and their parents seek universities that recognize the rigor of the IB. As the number of colleges and universities actively recruiting IB Diploma students grows, it is important for universities to make their IB policies available for review. In the past, this information was in a bound book format. Currently, policy statements for many universities in both the United States and Canada are online.
Policies for some universities have been summarized in policy summary charts available in PDF format below. These are updated annually. The policy summary definitions document explains what each column in the chart represents.
